What Concerts Are You Going To In The Next Few Months

I've seen both Slipknot and Stone Sour live, and although I'm not a fan of either, I can also say that I didn't find their live shows to be that bad at all.

I used to be a big Alexisonfire fan, I think I would go to a concert if they came here and played only their older stuff. And Crisis. Just curious, what did you think of their new album? I wasn't a fan. :(

i was gunna see circa survive and animals as leaders at the ****ing stone pony a couple weeks ago, but the show was sold out and i didnt want to risk the long drive to try and scalp. i was pissed

You and ten billion other prepubescent girls.

(This is NOT an attack on BTown787, the "club" is absolutely trashy. If it wasn't PIL I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near it.)

^ Damn I wish stuff like that would come around here. I'm going to see Dillenger Escape plan, Thursday, and Fake Problems in mid Deceraber. I hate Thursday but from what I have heard of Fake Problems is sick, and I think seing a band like Dillenger live would be fun.

Thursday - Noveraber 20
Social Distortion - October 20
Foo Fighters - October 13

I want to see Thursday but I don't think tickets have gone on sale for that show.
But for sure I will see Social D and the Foo Fighters :)

^ All those sound cool, but I think I'm most jealous of Flogging Molly. I really have no reason to say this or prior experience, but they've definitely been a favorite for quite awhile...and with the style they play I imagine them to be incredibly fun to see live. :thurab:

Well, its nothing I'm looking forward to now, because it happened last night.

Went and saw Between the Buried and Me in Wilmington, NC. Caught about half of the openers' set (Veil of Maya). Really tight show. I don't think it was worth $15 bucks, though. $10, yeah. BTBAM was awesome as always, but they didn't play for very long. Probably because it was their last night on tour, and they probably just wanted to pack up and head home (they're from North Carolina, after all).

I'm not quite sure what's next for me. I've heard rumors about Flogging Molly coming to Charleston, SC sometime soon.

yeah no question! but it's Pavement innit, laaav and in the wobblies. This event has prompted me to bother hearing Terror Twilight for the first time, great album.
You might be going to ATP to catch them? it's still not the thriftiest festival in the world.. they have one in the UK at caraber sanRAB that is out-and-out extortion, and the platform of choice for reforming 'alt' icons... the Pixies lead the way with this trend, now they really knew how to milk it

Possibly seeing...

Tech N9ne, Kutt Calhoun, Krizz Kaliko, E-40, and Jay Rock soon.
It would be my first Tech show, as I believe it's his first headlining show in Atlanta.

I'm buying a friend a Cradle of Filth ticket for Christmas, along with my own....only problem is I cant decide between presale 20 dollar tickets or the special VIP tickets in which I get to meet the band, get into the venue early and get a T-shirt only for VIP ticket-holders. Its only 30 dollars more but since I'm buying two its like 40 dollars vs 100 and I'm not sure if I have that cash right now.
