I liked their new album better than Crisis. Old Crows, Young Cardinals, No Rest, Born And Raised, Emerald Street, and The Northern are all big winners in my opinion. It did have one huge stinker though: Accept Crime.
You should definitely see them though. They only played one song off their debut that night but they played a handful of songs off Watch Out! (Get Fighted WHAT?). The album they played most from was Crisis.
But I do agree, their older stuff > their newer stuff. The debut album is easily one of my top 10 favorite albums ever.
Go thirty miles outside of Detroit. I'm in one of the party hotspots of Michigan. The Pontiac area is best for houseparties. Lapeer is best for drunken bonfires.
Even though 5 mins ago it look like i`d have to cancel the whole thing.
Still not got my tickets , the post had already come so i`m thinking i`d have to cancel the whole thing , then the postman comes back an hour later telling me he had to go back and get them because they`re special delivery.
I saw Arkells in June with Alexisonfire, Moneen, and IllScarlett and they bored me for the most part, but that's probably because I was only familiar with a couple songs, and because Moneen played before them and absolutely tore it up.
ok, in no order, in the next three months I will be seeing:
Blind Guardian
Aerosmith/Motley Crue
Dragonforce
Mindless Self Indulgence
HelloGoodbye
Gwar(sweet halloween show)
Panic! At the Disco
and MAYBE Good Charlotte because I LOVED them in like ninth grade and next got to see them.....so I might go see them now.
^But if giving the chance, WOULD you see a band twice or do you just have some kind of superstition thing where you're afraid they wouldnt be as great of a show?
