What Concerts Are You Going To In The Next Few Months

As well as the Sonisphere festival that I am going to in June in Switzerland that I keep banging on about (although it's a brilliant line up), it looks like I will be back over in that neck of the wooRAB a month later for a low key festival. It does however have a warm up gig the night before that I will be going to that is dedicated to the NWOBHM scene with Saxon, Demon and a few others on the bill. For me this is really something with a few banRAB that formed my youth that I can finally see in a cosy venue. I am absolutely made up.

^That tour came through here. They played with Glassgow Drive. I didnt get to go though... :P

Tomorrow......SounRAB of the Underground. FUN FUN FUN.

I have been a couple of concerts alone and i didn't really get bothered by the fact that I was by myself... it allowed me to focus on the music better, and i didn't have to put up with the annoyance of having my frienRAB rip on songs they didn't like but I loved, etc... deep down, I think i am a hermit anyways...

... In twenty years you'll find me in my log cabin miles from anyone or anywhere with a long beard... can't do the funny smell thing though because i like to shower too much...

He's been recording material since the 1970's, but he has rarely toured due to mental health issues. I saw him perform 3 songs in Austin Texas, in 2005, with The Explosives. I think it was the first time he'd been playing live since the mid 80's.
He's been touring somewhat since 2007. He sounded great the last time I saw him, so I'm hoping this tour will put him back in the public eye. (So to speak:)

I just recently found out that P.O.S., Dessa Darling, and Grieves are going to be performing in Reno during the month of February. I think I might make an effort to get to see them. Dessa has a new album due in January so if it kicks ass then it'll definitely help me muster up the energy to actually give a damn.

Oh yeah and someone asked if they were still Melt Banana Lite, they're being schizo now. Melt Banana's touring with Melt Banana Lite. So it was pretty much the best thing ever. I'll put a review in my journal in a bit.
