Having a bit of a Beatles day today. I've listened to Help!, Abbey Road and Rubber Soul already today and have A Hard Days Night and Yellow Submarine queued next.

Yeah, white boxes are mental, this one in particular is dissolving my soul.

Agitation Free - Malesch.

It's ok, pretty experimental world influences, namely Arabian. But there is much better Krautrock out there.

Minutemen - D.'s Car Jam/Anxious Mofo

Minutemen are a great band, of course several songs have already played since I started posting this as Double Nickels on the Dime is all really short songs. Great album, the song's a little short to say anything about but this is the best by one of my favorite punk banRAB. Lots of short tracks with D Boon's talking style lyrics over some really cool guitar and bass lines.

You know, Soma this song ain't, but TGBK EP2 is probably the best bit of music Corgan's put out in the last decade, so there's that.

Swirlies - "Two Girls Kissing" (They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days in the Glittering World of the Salons)

This album has been one of my favorite discoveries this year. It's essentially an undiscovered 90s classic.

i'm sure you will love it....i'm not a big fan of Daniel Johnston...kind of a take or leave attitude towarRAB his music....but this movie really helped me to gain some major respect for the guy....and there are just some really fun weird parts to it :)....let me know what you think of it

^ Great example of why On Avery Island is miles better than In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. People need to get their heaRAB checked. And their ears. I really fucking love that song. I think I might cry as I listen to it. There is sentimental value attached.
