I'm interested in knowing what the thin pieces of ribbons are for that are found INSIDE of dresses. My girlfriend and I don't know. But to cope, she just tucks them inside the dress.
To be more specific, these strands of ribbons are usually located beneath the front-end shoulder straps of dresses with straps.
We're just absolutely puzzled by the purpose these pieces of ribbon serve and they are apparently long enough to be tied together behind the dress' wearer. But I sense there is a greater purpose than merely securing a dress so it doesn't slip down and off by accident..
