What are the most depressing films ever?

Apparently, 'Lilja 4-ever' is a really depressing film.

It's a Swedish drama. I haven't seen it myself but you can read the comments on IMDb. It's IMDb rating is 8.0/10.

'The Good Girl' with Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal. Billed as a black comedy - maybe quite uplifting if suicide is your thing...in which case you should see a doctor!

As much as I love it, the Titanic.
Also Captain Correli's Mandolin, fighting and then a earthquake, no comedy in it at all. Vera Drake is also quite depressing.

Kes...make that All Ken Loach films.
Soldier BlueSophie's Choice
Bandit Queen
Nil By Mouth
15 minutes of Passion Of The Christ, which is more than enough.
Midnight Cowboy
Irreversible- I should add that I've never seen this film, but everything I've read and heard about it depresses me.
Day of the Dead

Life is Beautiful IS a very sad film. It's very cute and funny, but then you realize that the guy knows what's going to happen yet he's trying to hide the fear from his kid, and the ending...

Titanic is just depressing in my opinion. I can't watch it without choking up.

Donnie Darko, great movie but very sad/depressing ending.
The champ with Jon Voight, aint seen it for 15years or so but always made me mega depressed...
