What are the most comfortable "casual" shoes? Answer from experience, please...?

I don't want sneakers or basketball shoes. I would like shoes that are not dress shoes, either. The hanging out shoes. Possibly a little more professional than normal (aka, not sneakers). And COMFORTABLE. The kind of shoe that would go with linen pants. That's the kind of shoe I want. Suggestions? I'm a guy, by the way haha.
