what are the best settings for my kicker L7 12" along with my Alpine MRP-M1000?

There are three settings, the input gain adjustment, the Bass EQ Knob, and Crossover Frequency Adjustment Knob (LP filter). I'm not really sure what the best settings would be the people who installed it where mad at me cause I didnt buy it from them so I'm not so sure they did the best job possible. My deck is a Pioneer DEH-P500UB if that means anything
