Sony XM-sd22x 2 Channel Amp? I have a 2002 Jetta 1.8t with the monsoon stereo system and I want to add 1 12" or 10" subwoofer to the setup. I think that the monsoon amplifier is 4 channels and in the 200 channel range. The specs on the amp are 200w x 2 channel @ 4 ohms, 250w x 2 channel @ 2 ohms, or 500w x 1 channel @ 2 ohms from what I have read. I am new to the whole car audio market so I'm trying to get good quality and reliability out of the amp. Also wanted to know the difficulty of the task at hand, b/c I have heard that the monsoon system is integrated into my alarm and many other parts.
