My daughter is 26 months old and I have been trying to potty train her, just setting her on the potty and getting her used to it. She used to fuss and cry but now she asks to go to the potty but she has never once peed in it yet. I have both a toilet seat and a potty chair but it seems she likes the seat with her stool better. So, I thought she might be bored just sitting there and that's why she was jumping off the potty so fast so I got a random book out of her collection which happened to be The Ugly Duckling. She really loves to read that book on the potty, she will turn the pages and say the story to me. Now I think if I get her a cute colorful potty training book, she will want to read that on the potty and she will start to get the concept more. Please can you recommend a good potty training book to me? Did any specific book work with your kids?
