I need to know for a school project, please help. Even a food that fits into just one of those cultures will help.
Okay you know what? You people all are so concerned over that fact that I'm giving very general questions about Hinduism, if I wasn't so vague you'd be complaining about that!

So just give me some dang food options that they eat in India!!

Food culture can vary not only according to religious diversities but also according to regional/environmental/topographical diversities. The uniformity of Hindu food culture is that beef is a forbidden food item for all Hindus. But Brahmin Caucasoids among the Hindus do not eat meat or fish, though in Bengal province of India those Brahmins eat even beef following the theory of regional diversity. In Manipur the Hinduised Mongoloids eat dog. Thus it is not right to generalize the Hindu food culture. As far as the Buddhists are concerned, they can eat both beef and pork forbidden in Islam. You should collect data in this matter region wise and race wise and not religion wise since Hinduism is a very confusing religion.
