What adapter would I use to connect my Iphone to my CLK 500?

It's an '03 and I just bought it :) Now I need my music! Would the adapter plug into the cigarette lighter or would the adapter plug into the car phone port(if that makes sense)? Please respond ASAP...thanks in advance! :)
