First off, had I insurance I'd have already gone to see a doctor. Unfortunately, I won't have any health insurance for a few months and I have other important things to pay for, which is why I'm going to ask here.
For a few days, I've had weird breathing issues. I've not really had difficulty breathing but I've been taking deep breaths almost continuously. I keep doing it until I can get a really good breath that makes me feel great for a few moments before the cycle starts again. Usually when I try to sleep though, my breathing goes back to normal. When I wake up I find that I breath normally for a short while.
I don't know what this is and it's really starting to bug me. Worrying about it it probably making it worse.
Some additional information:
- I'm overweight
- I usually have bad hurtburn and/or acid reflux quite a bit. I think I have GERD.
- My nose has been a little runny lately
- Sometimes when I cough, it feels like I'm breaking up some phlegm in my throat.
- I've been getting acid reflux a lot for the last few days, though no heartburn
- My breathing issues tend to get worse after eating or when I do too much moving. I felt winded after making my bed the other night.
- Sometimes, though not all the time, my chest feels weird. Not like anything is seriously wrong, but just a bit odd. It reminds me of when I'm around smokers for too long.
- I can clearly feel my heart beating in my chest at times.
- After lying or even just sitting in bed for awhile, I tend to feel better, even though I usually don't when sitting at my computer.
I don't know if all or any of that is related, but that's the only relavent additional information I can tell you.
