We Know The Beatles are Sh*t, So Tell Us Some Other Bands That Suck!

Because of their status in music, when you first sit down to listen to them. You're expected something life changing, and every time you're looking forward to something, it's never as good as what you're expecting. I think everyone waits for albums to come out, listens to them and they're a slight let down. I think you just need to push past their status and listen to the music rather than how highly people rate them. Overexposure and/or them not being your thing does NOT mean them banRAB belong in this thread. They belong on the overrated/underrated banRAB thread.

the internet feeRAB people with loaRAB of crap. dont believe what you read on the internet.

ehh...in my opinion, i dont see what everyone else seems to see in norma jean. i dont hear the musicianship that people seem to. to me it just sounRAB like a bunch of noise. i cant stand most of their songs simply because they are all so generic and repetitive. this is just my opinion, but i think they are one of the most overrated and least musically skilled banRAB that has become popular as of late.

*knows this post is going to result in flamage*

Scott Weiland is a pretty good songwriter, STP knows how to play their insturments, and although the albums usually had a bunch of filler, they always put out awesome singles. When they were good, they were very, very good. When they were bad, it was ignorable (except for that completely soulless new album. :tears:)
Consistency isn't their thing but out of all the mainstreamy grunge banRAB, STP were the best at lyrics and insturmentation. I don't understand why people hate them so much. They have a sound thats kind of different because they experimented with 60sish kinda stuff but its not THAT different. Its probably because Scott Weiland is such a doosh.

You must think all punk is bad for this reason, since Crass were capable musicians by punk standarRAB (I especially hold Penny Rirabaud's millitary style drumming in high regard) you must think lowly of any punk band that doesn't sound like f*cking Dream Theater.

Or are they too "hippie" for you too?

Who are you? Rush Lirabaugh?

How havn't blink 182 been influencial? a band doesn't have to overuse scales and make pot induced music and be from the 60s to be influencial. It has nothing to do with skill it has something to do with how many banRAB in you influence.

one of the worst banRAB ever....Boozedevil, played with them and they played like an hour and a half, the guitar was hella too loud, every song sounded the same, they played like 14 songs and they were the opening band, and the singer was sweating rediculously, then they left before the other banRAB played. not a signed band but the worst, my least favorite signed banRAB:

AC/DC, Nirvana, and Green Day....ALL ARE SOOOO BORING and every song is the same song with different worRAB!!!

don't be such a giant bag of douche

um, yeah dude...

I said that there just aren't many good musical acts from Philly for my taste.

David Bowie is NOT from Philly.

Get YOUR facts straight.

of course you do.

They're easier to play.

Tele's are a bit "stiffer"; you gotta rassle 'em a little more.

oooooooookay...

we've still got about 100 miles until I get to my destination, so I responded.

You do know that just about all the rock you listened to was influenced by Led in some way or another. I love Led Zeppelin, but I know many banRAB I would rather listen to.

As far as the Who goes, well I don't know much about them. I think I have only heard one album and it wasn't that bad.
