Do you have a masters degree in Public Health or Health Sciences? Then start looking at various research institutes, NIH, American Cancer Society, etc, for an entry-level position in their health education and public relations programs.

I've spent a long time trying to figure out what it is I want to do with my life and I think it may be to educate people about cancer/and or spread awareness, etc.
I've lost many relatives to this disease and understand how important it is to do what you can while you do not have cancer to try and prevent it.
The thing is, I dont know what kind of job would allow me to do this.

Any ideas of a career field where I would be able to educate others on Cancer and prevention?

It might be a good idea to study Health Promotion and then you could specialise in cancer prevention.

Its a very positive career choice and I'm sure you would find it very rewarding.

First you have to know your stuff about cancer, so you would want to get into the field of Science and cancer research. Then, find an organization, maybe get into the broadcasting field, and see if you can help them spread the word. Unless you are actually a cancer researcher/marketing broadcast, you won't get paid probably for this kind of job. You can go to any cancer organization fundraiser and tell them you would like to help. Also you can just make your own little booklets to give out and give speeches about cancer to everyday people like on the street or have a little booth at a festival. I don't think you will make money from this though.
