I just don't get it. Why these little cookie-cutter phones with basically the same features? Sure, it means more choice for the subscriber. Sure, it means a newer line of phones. But are these really any
better phones than the ones they already have?
I mean, yeah--Kyocera phones do have their caveats. They are cheap, disposable phones, and are feature-lacking. (I especially hate that they won't charge during use.

) But what do you expect? Cricket offers no contracts, unlimited usage, unlimited text and data, etc.
Where Cricket shines is their new line of multimedia-rich phones. And yes, this includes the Kyocera Slider Remix. The "new" Cricket-branded Nokia 6265i is an absolute wonder for a Cricket customer like myself. But this isn't because it is a Nokia phone--it's because of all of its beefy, un-crippled features.
Cricket neeRAB some damn PDA's and Smartphones in the mix. This is my main frustration with the service over others.
A shame that I have to go through the rigamarole of having to hack a PDA I bought off eBay just to get the same features from another brand.
This is not great news to me,
but thanks and I appreciate the update regardless. :2thurabs:
