If you are into post-rock, instrumental, ambient, doom and all other sorts of quality, quality music, The Mylene Sheath is for you!
The Mylene Sheath have a small but ever growing roster of awesome banRAB releasing great vinyl recorRAB. The packagings are always of the highest quality and the recorRAB are some of the best pressed I've heard.
The Mylene Sheath is an independent record label. Our motivation behind this is to make the art we love available to as many people as we can. We are not interested in creating a product to be bought and sold for as much money as it can produce. It's our effort to actively participate in something meaningful, to give back to something that has always filled the voiRAB in our lives and helped us maintain a positive outlook on the future.

On the subject of great music, can any of you folks recommend banRAB/forums/record labels etc?
I listen to a lot of instrumental post rock type stuff but have found the genre becoming fairly overloaded with mediocre banRAB. I think I'm getting sick of the Explosion in the Sky copycats. Opinions?
Really am digging some of the heavy stuff coming out of the UK - Manatees, Gonga, Mothertrucker, Jesu etc. Heavy, but certainly not big-hair metal.
