Hello,
I live in a small town in SE Oklahoma. Currently the only cell phone providers in my area are AT&T, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. I am looking at changing providers because of a dispute with my current, US Cellular. When I moved back home I had Cingular, which of course is now AT&T. The reception was horrible, plus this was right after the merger with AT&T, and I hate AT&T. My question is that in the next town over, which is about 35 miles away, Verizon is offered. Since Oklahoma has a huge CDMA coverage area, Verizon would be my only option I would consider, but since I don't live in that area, can I still get service through Verizon? I could use a friends address if need be. Would there be charges if I used my phone more outside my "home area"? Thanks in advance for you help!
