does any1 know where i can get some Van Helsing avatars?
and here is my review of sorts:
i saw
Van Helsing today!!! (May 9th)
this movie totally rocks! :hotpinkie:
starting off as B&W. absolute genious. and very fitting since this movie is set in the late 19th century. to make it even darker. and i liked that most of the movie was set at night. it added that extra bit of atmosphere and depth to the story.
when Frankenstein threw Dracula into the fire i thought, he's dead. but then i remembered he can't be killed by fire, or any other of the traditional methods, stake, holy water, decapitation, etc.
Dracula not having a reflection. they got it right this time, vampires don't have reflections well done i say  and also that sunlight can kill them.
the mirror is the entrance to Dracula's castle. i didn't expect that either. and the ring on Van Helsing's finger was originally Dracula's. must be why Van Helsing couldn't remember his past. the ring probably had something to do with it. and Dracula's finger not growing back. that is strange  i thought that all of his body could regenerate. guess it must also have something to do with the ring.
Kate Beckinsale, she looked so hot in those tight pants and also in the red dress
the only thing that can kill Dracula is a werewolf. that took me totally by suprise

i never thought of that. but now that i do think of it a werewolf is a vampires arch nemisis so it makes sense that only a werewolf can kill him.
he was born in 1422. i think his name was Vlad Dracul when he was human, even though that wasn't mentioned in the movie i know that, that was his name when he was human. then he was murdered by Van Helsing in 1462 and he made a bargain with the devil to continue living, but to do so had to drink the blood of others. so when he became a vampire he kept his last name but changed it to Dracula. i always wondered how Dracula came to be and now i finally know.
the end battle between Dracula and Van Helsing was brilliant!!! it's a little bit strange that Dracula didn't use his speed to his advantage. if he had i don't think Van Helsing would've been able to kill him. Van Helsing as a werewolf, :jaw_drop: i loved it. he looked much bigger and badder than the other werewolves. too bad he killed Anna. but at least she and her family can RIP now.
Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde (sp?). i wondered who it was when i saw him in the trailer.
when they were transporting Frankenstein to Rome. i thought it was a very clever thing that Van Helsing was the decoy and Anna was the one who actually had Frankenstein in the horse drawn carriage. that Bride of Dracula fell for it. they're not very bright. and the horses, they can jump over a gap like that

lucky they did or Van Helsing would've been dead.
the Brides of Dracula  they were hot too. only when they were human looking. when they were in vamp form,

uke: they were damn ugly. but damn fast.
the masquerade ball. it was a total surprise to me that every1 there was vampire. the fryer/monk using the ball of sunshine thingy to kill them was pure genious. "i know what it's for now". funny when he was in his lab and he didn't know what it was for until having a near death experience of sorts.
the caretaker lol what a doofus. "this coffin is a bit too tight for me, but it will do just fine for you". then he gets mauled by a werewolf.
great effects they used for the morphs. i think in this movie i didn't go, that's just an effect. i actually looked beyond that. and i'm glad i did, i enjoyed the movie more b/c of it.
the end credits. they were amazing. very elaborate. i didn't expect them to be so elaborate.
i am definitely getting this movie on DVD. i liked it even more than
Underworld.
