I'm planning to adjust the valve clearances on my 2006 c50t this weekend but want some advice and clarifications on the procedures I have researched.
First of all I have an excellent print out of Brian's step by step from the VolusiaOwners.com website. I also have the model specific Clymer manual which also gives a play-by-play, both very detailed but slightly different.
Two questions I have?
1. Clymer says to rotate the crank clockwise to adjust valves, Brian page says to rotate counter-clockwise to set? (does it make a difference)? Please don't tell me that it only matters if I want to go in reverse!
2. How do you get the pair valve tube up high enough to get the clearance to remove the cover from the rear cylinder? Remove pipe? Bend up slightly? or ?
Thanks in advance
