Valley of the Muses 40.5 (Aragorn/Arwen LOTR): Board Closing, But Muses Are Eternal!

So true :)

i kinda hope we get a extended dvd, well another one with like AA scenes...are they coming out with an extended EXTENDED DVD? Hehe, lol.

Viggo and Liv just have so much chem they make the story so much better......viggo and liv should so get together, lol :)

Oh yayness, we have another Muse! :pinkie:

And what you say is so true. Their chemistry is drop-dead awesome. I can't help myself when I see Aragorn look at Arwen in the way that he does. Makes me wish someone looked at me like that.

BTW, listening to "Evenstar" right now on my iTunes (because I don't have all my LoTR CRAB with me right now...:( ), and oh is it so gorgeous. I can't hear that song and not picture that kiss...The Squeeze! :sigh:

Hehehe, you know it's funny that you should say that, because apparently that was going to be one of their ideas. They shot some scenes of Arwen being there, and then later figured that the fans would be like "No way!" and took it out. But if you look really carefully in the theatrical version of The Two Towers, you can see her ride out at the end with Aragorn and the King. They tried their best to take all of it out, I'm sure, but it didn't work out to well:

(Sorry, for the pic spam...she just looks so pretty and Elven even when she's all dirty and gross. )

However, you won't find it on the extended version of TTT. :pout: I tried proving to my boyfriend that she was there because he didn't believe me. All he had was the extended version and when the time came, there wasn't a trace of her. :( It would have been a nice little addition for the Muses. Too bad we can't find it anywhere.

Another great addition would be the moment in Fellowship that Liv was talking about in the cast commentary during the scene where Frodo is over looking Rivendell. She said something about Frodo looking down and seeing Aragorn with Arwen after he arrived, having a "tender moment". Well darn it, I want to see that tender moment!

Continue with the loving!

That's perfect...

Wherever You Go, Whatever You Do - Bryan Adams
Everything I Do - Bryan Adams
Now & Forever - Richard Marx
Anrion - Enya

Any more? I'll edit them in later. :D

Edited to add: Wherever You Will Go - The Calling is an awesome A/A song.

What's funny about them is that I Think I Love My Wife starred Gina Torres, Waitress stars Nathan Fillion and Death At a Funeral stars Alan Tudyk. :D

Seems like you and I are the only ones from the old board that made the trek, it's sad to see that when we still have so much still to talk about regarding A/A.

Jayne is funny. You could count on him all the time for the one liners.

Aragorn needed Arwen, someone who could help provide a support for him while he was insecure and uncertain about both his fate and his own strength, someone who help him develop the faith and hope he would need to face his path. Arwen really was his inspiration. And Faramir was good for Eowyn - he was able to be hopeful enough to help lead her out of her own despair. They balanced each other out.

They both ended up with the right person. :)

Yeah, it seemed even more drawn out in the films than in the bok because by showing her making her way to the undying lanRAB it showed that she wavered somewhat which in reality is not true.

We are indeed, way hard core fans! :D And yes the movie is greenlit with MGM/New Line Fran Walsh and PJ are producing for sure as well so it will I'm sure be very fatihful. Besides it's actually two movies so it will be chalk full of greatness. So excited.

PS/OT - It's so lovely. Now I have to look for a pic of Ioan when he still had is pretty curls.

Yeah, he is a dramatic sort of elf, Elrond. :) I like him though. It's hard not to, what with being a fan of Arwen and such.

Yeah, that was what I meant. :) *snugs your icon*

Hmmm...soundtrack:

Anrion - Enya
Now & Forever - Richard Marx
Everything I Do - Bryan Adams

What do ya'll think of those? Also how about another muse reason..."Because We Survived Board Closing, And Are Still Inspiring"?

Their story is epic, and the bittersweet aspect of their love is what really defines it. It's not easy or simple. But it is endlessly romantic.
