I've had a chance to sit on the S1000RR as well. Its more comfortable than my 1098, it is undoubtedly going to have more ponies, I'm sure it will handle well, the engine will be smooth, and I can probably sell my Duc for almost what it would cost to buy the BMW.
But somehow, down in my gut, it would just not be the same as sitting on my Duc, feel the bike shake as it starts up and listening to the clutch through the ventilated cover. There's just something satisfying about a Ducati...or am I just getting old and crusty?...
