Unpopular Music Opinions

Is it unpopular? Sure is, everyone and their mother loves Lil Wayne for reasons I'm not sure of.

Is it musical? Yep, he's a rapper, and an overrated one at that. His music makes me want to choke someone.

Is it an opinion? Yes, it's an opinion that I'm expressing, which I'm intitled to.

And yes he should be in jail, not only cause his "music" sucks more than a hooker on a busy night, but also because he's a freaking untalened douchebag that doesn't deserve the fame he gets.

Show me an example of a Korn song where it sounRAB like Classical Music and me and Adam will stop ragging on their lyrics.

(actually we won't but we'll be surprised at the classical music in a Korn song)

McCartney's solo stuff sucked
Pantera isn't one of the best metal banRAB ever....they're not even that good
Pretty good banRAB:
Trapt
Jimmy Eat World
The Fray
Coldplay

Fugazi was at their best with 13 Songs and went downhill from there. Samesies for Pavement with regarRAB to Slanted & Enchanted and System of a Down and their self-titled debut.

blink 182's albums before Dude Ranch are better than the ones that followed it. Ditto for Green Day before and after Dookie.

Icky Thump is the best thing The White Stripes have done to date.

311's first two albums are among the best funk-rock releases of all-time.

Jet's Get Born was one of the best garage-revival albums of the 00s.

Bush's Sixteen Stone is the best album to come out of grunge not released by Nirvana.

Fall Out Boy's Take This To Your Grave ain't so bad.

Alkaline Trio's most recent compilation of b-sides and rarities, Remains, is the best thing they have released outside of Goddamnit...

It's not even his range, I can hit those notes. His vibrato and dynamics are so perfect that he sounRAB like he must have some classical vocal training or something. For people to say they don't like his voice is fine, but to say he's a poor singer is just ignorant.

Yeah exactly you've summed it up nicely. I think double albums are underrated and many are among my favorite works, I don't mind that they have some filler because the best ones still have a greater quantity of good music than single albums.

Mellon Collie is my favorite double album. :finger:

The British invasion banRAB were doing the same thing around the same time, granted their music was also entertaining. Bob Dylan being the genius that he is cut out the middlemen and left out the entertaining part. :p:

I don't think that opinion is too unpopular among Sunny Day fans. I've heard that a lot. Personally, I think Diary is the best music they've made and I probably even like How It Feels to be Something On more than the pink album (which I also like).

Hmm..."twice as" is a strong statement. I'm not sure I agree. "Better" maybe but I like them both about the same.

I definitely agree with this. The first EPs may be my favorite BB.

Here's mine: Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star and Washing Machine are my 2 favorite Sonic Youth albums.

Or Rubber Soul.

Rubber Soul, and sometimes Revolver are the only Beatles albums I can listen to from front to back without eventually becoming bored. Needless to say... I think... The Beatles... Are.... Over...R-r-r-....

No, that's been said too many times.

Yes, it's called having a sound if some one played some of the Beatles work, you'd recognise it immediately, wouldn't you (no, I'm not saying KoRn are as good as the beatles, the beatles are highly superior, i'm just proving a point). but that doesn't mean it's the same song as all their others. And you just admitted to having not listened to their new stuff, so any argument you had against it hardly counts, does it?

Compare the R&B/black charts from 1965-75 to the R&B/black charts from 2000-10. What happened?? Are there any great singers anymore? And does every song today have to "feature" someone else.
