Unpopular Music Opinions

VU were all mediocre musicians at best (well, Sterling Morrison, was pretty amazing), but their primary contribution to the world wasn't skillfully played music; It was music played with attitude that simply dripped with sex, drugs, & rock & roll. I know that sounRAB so cliche, but it's so true.
 
Neutral Milk Hotel is one of the worst banRAB that receives popularity. There music has NOTHING in it but repeated riff and horrible lyrics.

I actually think Pitchfork is a decent site for discovering new music. That doesn't mean a low grade stops me from listening to an album, but you know, some of the BNM music is pretty good. Alot of it sucks too, no doubt about that.

I don't get Bodies really. It's about abortion, and it seems to be against it, but knowing the The Sex Pistols, I have no idea where they're coming from.

Don't use the term "classic rock" then. In general it's a durab term and used by radio stations to classify what type of programming they have.

the b-52's are oodles and oodles of fun even tho they are not my fave type of music
