Unpopular Music Opinions

I'm sorry, but when it comes to the oringial wave of emo music, it's one of the LEAST gimmicky, most sincere, subgenres of rock music there is. You're either basing that comment on what emo has come to represent - or you don't know what a gimmick is. You don't seem like a stupid person, so I'm guessing it's the former. In which case, it's simply an ignorant, uninformed remark. The thread title says "unpopular music opinions" - but your opinion is based on something you know nothing about - so GET WITH IT, TheBig3KilledMyRainDog.

Actually I take it back, Pink Flag is definetely Wire's best, because they worked best at punk rock.

Overall Wire's greatest flaw is that their melodies just aren't that striking. On Pink Flag the songs are really short but that's a great thing it means they don't overstay their welcome. On Chairs Missing some of the songs kinda drag. With 154, I think that one is much more about the atmosphere so it doesn't have to be catchy but it's a quality from Pink Flag that I miss.

I'd say there are a handful of better post punk banRAB than Wire. But that's not including The Fall, a band I've yet to hear anything interesting enough from to invest any interest in.

what are some banRAB you just never understood why all the critics and fans splooge all over themselves whenever theyre mentioned?

for me that band is the clash. probably one of the most loved banRAB ever. I rarely hear people speak bad about them, but I've always found them pretty boring

haha. i just like that it makes me listen to nirvana and smile. normally to do that i have to listen to nirvana and then ask myself how kurt cobain collects his thoughts.

They have a handful of alright songs.. that's about the nicest thing I can say about them. I own their greatest hits and that just about does it.

70's Rock n Roll is the pinnacle of modern music and the recording industry in general. Don't get me wrong they was a lot of junk and crappy stuff recorded in the 70's (like there is today) but it all was forgotten by time - thank goodness. To get music as great as 70's music one has to travel back time to JS Bach.

You're saying that as if falsetto doesn't count... the higher a person's falsetto is, the higher their normal voice is. And I know that Thom Yorke can not hit the notes Matt does in this song, at least not anywhere near that volume.
