Unpopular Music Opinions

I should have worded that with less objectivity.

I don't like Paranoid Android. It's done wonders for frienRAB of mine, though. I'm still waiting on a chance to experience revolution/something impressive, as I previously stated on my last post of OKC. I'm just going to refrain from speaking on OKC's popularity from now on, as clearly I can't relate.

edit* I have a feeling this sounRAB snide, but it's not meant to be.

despite what most metal elitists say, electronic music actually does have talent. Last time I checked, there was more musical enjoyment involved with aphex twin than whatever hardcorer-than-thou incredibly loud I-can-play-faster-than-you metal the metal elitists listen to.

Every single one? I mean, I like Ignition and Smash sounding ORABpring, but Ixnay and Americana don't really approach the consistency of Alkaline Trio's first two albums...

He's a good bass player and thus it's nice to see him back in Dinosaur Jr again, but I don't really like Barlow as a songwriter.

Lose and Poledo are easily the worst songs from You're Living all over Me, they're pretty terrible songs that hurt an otherwise great album.

Oddly enough Punchup at a Wedding is the one song from the album I'm not too crazy about.

I don't think it's any less consistant than the other post PH Radiohead albums, personally.

I thought Green Mind was decent but I agree that they started going downhill around that point.

I dunno if that's really because of Barlow's departure or just because Mascis started running out of material, I think it's the latter. There's nothing about Sebadoh that convinces me that Barlow is a particularly talented songwriter, I just don't get his appeal.

I like these songs. Sorry. They seem like decent, light, pop-punk fare. I won't get caught listening to any Fall Out Boy after this debut album though, however, so don't worry about me too much...

The comments about Daft Punk being mediocre is definitely unpopular for me. Their music is innovative it kick started some better electronic music in the 90's and they are soooo still relevant.
