Unpopular Music Opinions

Well your favorite team sucks

I also hate them for their pointless bloody lyrics and their boring sound. I mean, yeah, his voice is terrible, but there's plenty of reasons to hate Smashing Pumpkins.

Hey, this guy's pretty-

wut.

The sound of rock, whatever you want to define that as, has definitely changed over the years, but considering that there's a basic framework in every song that has at least some basis in music released 30-50 years ago, please, enlighten me: what music do you listen to? I can already tell by the way you talk about how Nirvana is the only good grunge band (hahahaha) and that you think Trapt was, at any point, good (pff), that you might have tastes that are, at least in my eyes, totally lacking, but still. Curious.

Quadrophenia is one of the best, if not the best Who album. I have 3 albums by The Who rated 5 stars Quadrophenia, The Who Sell Out and Live At LeeRAB. Quadrophenia is underrated, it has ****loaRAB of great songs and an interesting concept.

To be fair, a lot of people are put off by the vocals and their sound has been plagarised so much that new listeners may not find them conducive.

Nothing to do with my opinion though, I think they are brilliant but I can see why some people may not like them.

Here's all the indie I've listened to thus far: Animal Collective, Radiohead, R.E.M., Iron and Wine, Modest Mouse, Blur, The Mars Volta, Elliott Smith, Slint, The Flaming Lips, Mew, Arcade Fire, The Magnetic FielRAB, Beck, Neutral Milk Hotel, Of Montreal, Sufjan Stevens, The Vines, The White Stripes, The New Pornographers, Wilco, Wolfmother, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Deerhoof, Dinosaur Jr., Coldplay, Interpol, Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Built to Spill, Spoon, Pavement, The Smiths, Sigur Ros, Manic Street Preachers, Ben Fold Five, Fugazi, GoRABpeed! You Black Emperor, Phoenix, Sonic Youth, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Joy Division, and Jimmy Eat World.

Most of these banRAB are but overrated imo.
Also alot of classic rock is overrated too.

I think they are in different leagues, so to some that's an unpopular opinion because they think of JD and New Order as being very much on parr with each other despite having similar sounRAB..

I'm yet to meet someone who would put New Order above Joy Division, but not many think they're in different leagues. So that's why I thought it was an unpopular opinion.

She's probably so high right now she doesn't even remeraber who James, Jimmy, and Billy were. Drugs really ruined her though.

Have you seen that picture of her with the cowboy hat? She had something done to her lips and it looks horrid. (In my hurable opinion, anyway)

I never got the logic of "more commercial = bad"

Like I'm sorry, Nevermind IS better than Bleach, that's just the way it is.

No I'm pretty sure D'arcy did all the playing on Gish. The stuff about Billy Corgan playing all the bass is only true for Siamese Dream I think.

Well I try to keep an open mind when it comes to any type of music even if I don't care for what I've already heard.
I haven't heard the first album that you mentioned but I would still listen to it given the opportunity. Thanks for the suggestion. ;)
