Unpopular Music Opinions

I've got it on CD somewhere, and I remeraber liking the title track a lot. Pride - there's another great little song. I should really listen to the album again pretty soon.

Forgot to mention, Angel Of Harlem is a fantastic song as well.

I don't know if I've ever posted this in here before, but...

I really can't stand the Rolling Stones.

I know they have influenced blah blah, and have had blah blah hit recorRAB, and blah blah. But the point is, when I hear them, I am repulsed. Their music has only negative affects on me. It's just not good music. And what about people that claim the Stones are better than The Beatles...WTF???

You've pretty much described Brit Pop really.. Especially Blur, they were meant to be singing about modern day life in Britain and I REALLY don't see it. I really like Blur around the time of 13, but before that the social observations never meant anything to me, Brit Pop only has a couple of good banRAB (for me anyway.)

Isn't that comparing apples to oranges? Syd's Pink Floyd (when he was the front man) was almost completely different from Gilmore's Pink Floyd (when he and Roger sort of shared the front man job).

Listen to See Emily Play and Jugband Blues then listen to Goodbye Blue Sky and Time and it seems like you're listening to two completely different banRAB, and you are!

Yeah but if someone's going to claim you could erase the Beatles from rock history and nothing would be changed don't you think they should provide evidence as well? You've given nothing concrete at all just a few guesses at all and you even contradict yourself, you say they were just stealing from underground banRAB that were around at the same time then turn around and say their roots were in the 50s and 40s? Maybe you should get your own accusations straight before you make them.

It's the un-popular opinion thread.....Don't judge me

I never said it was up to me I said that's my opinion that some of my banRAB are emo, screamo, emocore, and emo violence banRAB that's all.

It's a losing battle they have been fighting for hours now. This whole "modern metal is rubbish" debate has been going on since their very first post earlier today.

If they were knowledgeable to the extent they would need to be to make this statement and to be prepared to be so forward with it then I would have been able to at least acknowledge their opinion. However they have nothing to back it up with. They have a personal bias against metal without actually knowing enough about it to make statements like this.

If they just said that they don't like much metal based on what they have heard but that they are no expert, then this would have been over a long time ago. Instead they seem determined to stick to their guns and in doing so, continue to dig a hole.

Instead they have said that "metalheaRAB don't have enough class to appreciate Bob Dylan" and consistently repeated that MODERN metal is rubbish, for hours, yet have only named three banRAB. Of those three banRAB one released a debut in 1983 and another in 1989. A more solid argument or reason for their opinion would have been made long before now, if they had one.

There are actually alot of subgenres within 'indie' (whatever that may mean), so I can't imagine you hate all of them. Right?

I don't really like all those indie folk banRAB like Mumford & Sons either, but there are a bunch of great indie banRAB in the 80s, 90s and even the noughties.

It's hard to do well. I can play drums and saxophone, and I've dabbled in guitar. Does that mean I can release a great album? No. Same deal with electronic music, and I'm not even a big fan of it.

"Modern Life is Rubbish" is so overrated. I like it a little more every time I listen to it but I still kind of think it sucks. It just doesn't agree with me. I don't ALWAYS hate accoustic-y things. I love Elliot Smith and a few songs off Beck's "Modern Guilt" were brilliant and just his voice, drums, and a guitar, but "Modern Life is Rubbish" is just kind of boring.
When I first got the album, I was listening to it thinking, okay, this is Blur, I should like this. And I guess I thought I did, but I listened to it today and I didn't particularly love or enjoy most of it. I actually can't remeraber a single track. Damon Albarn hates it too, so I guess I'm in good company.
