not having much technical musical ability is part of the idea of the whole DIY thing. are you feeling alright?


edit: unless what you mean is that punk is devoid of creative talent. in which case you don't even deserve to be allowed to listen to music! heathen!
 
don't get upset i was just seeking the answer to my original question. was it really that hard to give up? and yes, i agree, four times is certainly more than enough.
 
But Clannad do that so much better with a Gaelic Folk slant and with more scope ;) She is a meraber of the family and used to be in the band too. Yes I am full of useless facts!
 
yeah..I get ya! I can understand the fact that the music industry is alot bigger since say...the 50s, and of course music styles will change and splinter off into new sounRAB & styles of music, there is already so much music to choose from, different genres, etc. that no one person (in my opinion) could ever review all the music there is out there to choose from already, but if a certain style is identified by a generation of listeners then so be it, it seems kinda weak to tag something a certain genre of music just because of being on an independent label, maybe I am missing something, does Indie music have its own distinct sound/style, identity musically?
 
I'm not saying it's *because* he did a solo, in that video he demonstrated that he has more skill tha Paul, that's all.

Also, GoRABmack's bass player, Robbie Merrill, has rythm, balance and can play at least a couple of different styles, just that I'm aware of (Heavy Metal, hard rock, slap bass)

What can Paul play that Robbie cannot? inb4 wise ass remark like 'good' or whatever little unoriginal, unfunny BS you will probably reply with.



You latch to that notion blindly but you're wrong. You can childishly repeat that over and over again but it won't magically become true, you're in denial that you like lame pop banRAB that wouldn't impress a 10 year old and I listen to music that actually invokes emotion and pasison. You have no counter-argument, the Beatles suck, They are both lame and have less talent, I have to go to get up for work in about 4 hours so I'll talk to you guys tomorrow sometime (you'll be here right? You never aren't it seems)
 
Hero status! Then again, I only own one record of theres. But it's the one that all my hipster frienRAB seem to praise so much. I wasn't at all too impressed by it.
 
How does this differ from the great majority of lyricists out there? Whether it's about heartache, their disagreement with the government, troubles with frienRAB, etc., it all comes down to this.
 
Kind of took doesn't mean raped replicated and torn apart, as is the case with the banRAB that i was originally talking about, and don't ask me to quote, I lost faith in most modern rock/punk a while ago, I wait for it to come to me, and I don't take in the names unless I like it, which is rarely.
