Unpopular Music Opinions

My standarRAB? Well, how about I give you a dictionary standard, I know we are all fans of the dictionary in this forum, right?

Lame:
3. weak; inadequate; unsatisfactory; clumsy: a lame excuse.

When I say lame in this context, I mean (regarding the sound of music) "lacking in passion; weak; ineffectual; shallow"

Surprisingly, having worked in a record store for 5 years they still sell a ****load of recorRAB and their fans are pretty die-hard.
But i am heartened to know that the times they are a-changing.

Well, I like complex music, like boo boo said, because it's more rewarding. Sure, if it catches you off guard it can be a little confusing but whatever. but, who said I don't like simple music? BoarRAB of Canada is a fairly simplistic IDM duo, but they're one of my favorite banRAB (hence the username).

and no, I have not heard Yowie. Will check out, thanks :D

I don't mean to be an assh*le but, you're an Enya fan, you're leaving yourself very vulnerable here.

But to be nice I'll go ahead and admit that I like The Eagles, maybe that'll spare you the ridicule because everyone will be too distracted with picking on me. :(

This is true. Songs like Helter Skelter and Eleanor Rigby were pretty out there for the time and still probably among some of the more unique tracks in pop and rock music to this day.

This is probably going to be the worst one of all.

As much as I try, I cannot really get into the Beatles. I don't hate their music or anything, but I've listened to every album, and I liked some of the songs, but they just don't stick for me.

They are very talented, don't get me wrong, but I just don't like the way the feels for me.

But they did do a lot for music as a whole. That, nobody can deny

While we're on the subject of Metal, I wish I had more really great Metal.
Most Metal I've heard has been pretty dire, but that's down to what I've heard rather than the genre itself. I might use tonight to listen to some Metal.
