Unpopular Music Opinions

And yet Amnesiac is in no way closer to what people expected to be a Radiohead album.

Kid A was the "experiment"; the follow-up would supposedly be a return to the more expected/desired Radiohead guitar rock. Though that promise was never fulfilled. Instead Amnesiac sounRAB pretty close to Kid A, and they are recordings done during the Kid A sessions.

Whether they are "leftovers" or not is debatable and is nothing I would commit to one way or the other. What is clear is that Amnesiac is almost as much an experimental album as was Kid A, is drawn from the same ideas, and is not the back-to-expectations Radiohead album that was promised. That one never happened.

You don't use it to imply homosexuality? But that's what the word means, you hardly expect other people to comprehend your questionable motives? Anyway, reply via PM or visitor message if you want to discuss this further, don't want to clog up this thread, now do we, little boy?

That's not really an unpopular opinion, I'd say it's actually the typical rockist perspective. I personally don't subscribe to it though. There was a lot of great music in the 70s and there were a lot of people experimenting, definitely. But that not unique to the 70s, you can find lots of great music and experimentation in every era.

I used to be this way, and I honestly regret it. Metal is perhaps one of the most misunderstood genres. I only know a handful of metal banRAB at this moment, but even I grew to know better.

For them to only like rabV out of all the Indie music out there is a bit bizzare. But then again they like pop punk.

rabV are an acquired taste, I Only Said and Sometimes are just brilliant songs.

I like it. It helps me know while scrolling down a page if the post he's making is about a band I like or a band I've been meaning to check out, which in turn reminRAB me to get into the band.
