Unpopular Music Opinions

here's my unpopular music opinion

drukqs is one of Richard's best albums, just because of Mt. Saint Michel + Saint Michael's Mount

the ending is pure gold.

And that vastly discredits them, people who hate rage just assume that their fan base is a bunch of college kiRAB who want to be aware.

I don't suppose anyone would like them for the music they made? Do their lyrics overshadow the music that much, or is it that any band who writes about politics is immediatly discredited for "trying to appear smart."

Get over the complex.

Radiohead sucks ass.
The Sex Pistols sucked ass.
The Who was more influential than The Beatles.
The Who were also more influential than Zeppelin.
John Lennon was a whiny hippie whore.
Paul Mcartney was, and continues to be a whiny, hippie whore.
Fall Out Boy is a decent band.
I wish John Lennon wasn't dead (popular opinion but...) so that he wouldn't be as worshipped and glorified.

There.

You act like what you listen to is so underground.

You know, one thing that metalheaRAB, indie fans and people like yourself who still think its 1999 all seem to have in common is your distate for mainstream pop.

Funny because I think pop has a lot more to offer than most genres, including metal. I'd take my Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Queen, Todd Rundgren and Stevie Wonder over your nu metal crap any day of the week.

Yeah. GoRABmack is basically Alice in Chains durabed down for the Limp Bizkit generation.

I can tell you this much though, at least they're better than Oomph.

Oomph is industrial metal garbage for kiRAB who think Orgy is too high brow.

I appreciate it as well, I just don't think he was the greatest.

agreed... good point, most of the cats I see on you tube playing 3 parts on one guitar (live) blow many guitarist, we all worship, away.

Most musicians / songwriters seem to criticize their music in ways their fans don't... I wouldn't be suprised if they disliked it for aspect that you and I wouldn't pay any attention to as fans or casual listeners...

Or more importantly Down On The Upside?:(

I think it might have been Corgan who came up with and recorded that bass line, not sure though. Duga might be able to clarify.

All I can assume is you've never heard the mix on the original album where the drums & the bass were virtually inaudible and the treble is so high it hurts your ears.
