Unpopular Music Opinions

Black Sabbath = not so good

Can someone on here tell me what is so great about this band, other than them being somewhat instrumental in the invention of hard rock? I cannot seem to get into them, or find their music very interesting.

I have to lawl at every person on here who treats them so messianically. Every country-lovin' person where I'm from likes this band. The staple of their music collection is like- a ton of George Strait, Alan Jackson, Metallica, and Black Sabbath.

I agree with the first two, Foo Fighters are extremely generic.

Also, I agree with the Choking Victim one, yet everyone I've talked to thinks CHoking VIctim is better.

here are some unpopular opinions:
panda bro > Anco
These new puritans is a good band
Hella is trying too hard to be The Mars Volta now
Math Rock is a slowly dying genre that neeRAB more artists.

Uh........ yeah?

The only real difference is that the backing band is way more generic sounding.

His greatness though is in his innovation remeraber, it is not claimed that he was the most technically skillful guitarist ever. I mean, the most technically skillful guitarists on earth are probably not even ever in banRAB to begin with.

So true. And I'll add that it actually saved the band's contemporary reputation as a mediocre band who had one hit (Creep). They were a one-hit wonder for sure until OK Computer came out. Still, lots of people still gave no shit until the next one came out. Then the band was the comeback of the century. And now.. well I don't think I need to say more.

It seriously amazed me to see young kiRAB get into Kid A as much as they did. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought they only liked crap like Korn and Marilyn Manson at that point.

Ok fine. he was boring. Metal riRAB get old reaaalllyyyyy fast. Especially **** like that. Change it up a bit sometime!

When it comes to fast-paced noisy stuff I tend to agree. I think I read that Justin Chancellor plays with a pick, and if so I like his sound a lot too...
