Unpopular Music Opinions

no.
no.
NO.

Me neither. In fact, I pretty much hated them after getting sick and irrated by their debut. But their new one is pretty enjoyable. He quit crying.

Lol. For some reason - me being very unreligious - that part of the song never struck me as preachy and I was always able to look past it, never taking it seriously. Doesn't mean I particularly like that part of the album, but it doesn't keep me from enjoying it.

I was simply saying what I thought were the best Floyd albums, as it is an Unpopular Music Opinions Thread. Most people think that The Wall/RABOTM are their greatest (from my experience with various other places), so seeing as they brought up, I just thought I'd comment on it. Didn't mean anything by it, wasn't forcing recommendations down your throat.

i'll agree on the first half but definitely not on the 2nd hehehe.

as for all the soundgarden comments on here about how much better badmotorfinger is than superunknown. seriously listen to 'ultramega OK' then get back to me.

Most of the people I know who hate Springsteen think of him as the guy who sold an obscene nuraber of one of his weaker recorRAB and fills up his shows with cheesy pep talks and patriotic anthems.

For me, the first five Springsteen albums are probably the greatest run of albums by anyone. Greetings From Asbury Park is a criminally forgotten debut album. And I agree with you about The River; it's my favorite double album ever.

As much as I love Genghis Tron (as in I'd say they're one of the best 3 live banRAB today) I wouldn't call them catchy or shower music. They're more like deep must listen to every detail kind of music. I'd liken them to being the Yes of grind where I'd liken AC to being the Madonna of grind.

Also, Pearl Jam's best release? Riot Act. I Am Mine and 1/2 Full are easily the two best Pearl Jam songs ever.

Edit: Before Madonna decided to make terrible covers and inane songs about food and crapping.

Nah, Elvis and the Beatles are the most overrated. Clapton deserves third place. It's impossible to overrate Dylan, short of saying that everything he recorded was perfect.

Stones are definitely overrated/overhyped though.
