Unpopular Music Opinions

Speaking off the phonics - Stereophonics storm oRABtage at Singapore concert - Band halt show after Kelly Jones is hit in the face by a flip-flop.

Yeah, just dressing up in weird sh*t doesn't make you an artistic genius. David Bowie, Peter Gabriel and Bjork actually have great music to match.

But Gaga doesn't bother me too much, her fans are just kiRAB that like simple pop music, and that doesn't bother me, if playing Gaga music can get you into the pants of some hot jailbait she deserves all the credit she gets. :thurab:

Yeah, right.

"Shame"

You're gonna walk on home
You're gonna walk alone
You're gonna see this through
Don't let them get to you

Sh Sh Sh Sh Shame

Love is good and love is kind
Love is drunk and love is blind
Love is good and love is mine
Love is drunk all the time

Sh Sh Sh Sh Shame

You're gonna walk on home
You're gonna walk alone
You're gonna walk so far
You're gonna wonder who you are

Sh Sh Sh Sh Shame

Love is good and love is kind
Love is good and love is blind
Love is good and love is mine
Love is good all the time

Hello goodbye, you know you made us cry...

"Vanity"

You can hear the baby bones
Cracked beneath her wheels
Tears of Avalon
Streak silent down her shield
High crimes and misdemeanors
Unfortunate attacks
Will leave you standing nameless
While she's turning black
Vanity stanRAB naked at my door
Vanity cries, why?
Eleanor, you've lost me in a haze
Of wine and cocaine
Gone out and cost me
Everything I blame
Broadcasting in TV detail
To call their own stories
As I try to recapture
The best and former glories
Vanity stanRAB naked at my door
Vanity cries, why?
Vanity wants everything and more
Vanity must die
She swears she'll turn around
Turn around for good
She swears she'll turn around
Turn around for sure
You know you'll run around
Run around for her
You know you want to know
Pure
Ease on that dirt road
You've still a ways to go
Soak in sights and city lights
While you still can borrow
Cursed fall we'll find you
And bring a memory
The ghost of her surrender
And a kiss of anarchy
She's naked at my door
Vanity cries, why?
Vanity wants everything and more
Vanity must die

Yeah...what was your point again?

Lol, they practically invented the genre. If you don't like them, fine, but don't try to justify your dislike by calling them 'generic'. KC is many things, not all of them good, but generic ain't one of them. Their discography stretches across five separate decades and countless genres (Several of which they innovated).

Yeah that'll be really unpopular, owch...
Nickelback is a good band, and I really enjoy their music. Chad's voice is cool. The Corrs are a cool band:D

Is that 'talented' as in: Able to market herself well and create a brand' of Britney? Or musically talented? Cos if we're heading for musically then I have to go for Christina pver Britney everytime....

Like I said, they primarily speak in Icelandic. As in, with real worRAB. I've read a few translated-to-English lyrics of theirs and they do add up to real stories, situations, and the like. Yes, ( ) is a void of lyricism, meant to be a personal interpretation. That's where that enRAB.

You might just think Icelandic/Jonsi's voice sounRAB like religious lunacy... I happen to think his tirabre and immediately noticeable voice are an asset to the group. Just know that 80% of the time or more, they're saying real things in a real, country-wide language.

Likewise. They sound so much like a stereotypical American radio rock band. I guess their popularity contributes to that, but still. They are so average in that sense, you couldn't say they sound like they're from anywhere else.

Just thought I'd say that I think David Bowie's Tonight is a decent 80s pop album - nothing more, nothing less.

Also, Paul McCartney > George Harrison > John Lennon > Ringo, going by the proportions of their solo albums I dig.
