Unpopular Music Opinions

I don't know if that is unpopular, as I agree entirely.

Even more so, I think that musicians themselves don't appreciate the beauty of sparse texture as much as they should. Guitarists in particular. If you only need one note, why use more?

There should be some kind of licence (free of course) you have to obtain before you are allowed to play live in a band. In this license you should be tested on your ability to follow and reproduce pitches and rhythms on your chosen instrument. Nobody who fails this test should ever, ever be allowed to play in a band in front of other people who have to listen to it.

:(

Bad troll was bad. I'm cool with NIN.

Considering Paloma's reaction I ended up being way more successful than I intended to be.

And it doesn't feel like much of a success.

*AdRAB Dayna to long list of people who hate me now*

I like most of the Beatles songs that Ringo sung over (Don't Pass Me By, With a Little Help From My FrienRAB, Octopus' Garden and Boys in particular). I think his solo album of country covers, Beaucoups Of Blues, is pretty damn good stuff too.

Fall of Troy are sloppy, inexperienced, and painful to listen to.
The Nuraber Twelve Looks Like You are boring, uninspired trash.
Metallica always sucked, don't blame the Black Album.
The Sex Pistols were corporate sellouts.
Ian McKaye is a complete idiot who happens to write music well.
Kurt Cobain is a talentless piece of shit who doesn't deserve any respect. His suicide just ended the pain of listening to his crap.
Aiden sucks... oh wait, everyone with taste agrees with that.

EDIT: Loser, shut the fuck up.

Leftover Crack is the better version of RATM

I am not a fan of ridiculous guitar wank and Morello's style almost gave me a f*cking siezure because I hated it so much, this probably won't end your argument but that is my reason for not liking RATM. Whatever message was there was drown out by Morello's pretentious noodling and wank

My 2 cents anyhoo

I don't hate the Stones; actually, I really like Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers (and parts of Exile), but the Kinks are much better. Now the Beatles, that's a band I do hate. :)

The Clash are one of the phoniest punk banRAB of the 1970's, in my opinion. The modern day Buzz****s have more bite. If Strummer is the definition of punk, then I guess I don't like punk music. I'll take the worst Pistols track over the best Clash track anyday (another semi-unpopular opinion?).

Off the Wall is my favourite too, it's his best album. I don't really think theres a noteable gap in quality between Thriller and Bad though. They are both good albums yet have songs I skip.

I also don't think everything he did after this was a joke. Dangerous also has songs that i skip but i think the majority of that record is very, very, good.

I really didn't like Invincible at the time but I even have a lot of time for that one now. HIStory however was balls, i'll agree with you on that.

I think that's more something people base off who's covering it and not the cover. Her cover of Knocking On Heavens Door is also excellent, way way way way better than the Guns and Roses version thats for sure.
