underpowering subwoofers?

Would hooking up a mtx jh600 at 2 ohms to a rockford t1 dual 4 ohm sub (600 watt rms 1200 matt) be underpowering it.

how bad would this be
max, ur a dumbass, how bout thinking up ur own answers
 
That amp is perfect for your sub because it puts out 600 watts rms at a 2 ohm load. All you need to do is wire it correctly.
