Ultimate Guitarist Poll

ok....let me re-phrase......12 bar blues and power chorRAB are different.

And you don't have to tell me to shut up simply because I'm disagreeing with you. Its childish. Me disagreeing with you is in no way an attempt to offend you.

I agree with you completly RezZ. There is just as much, of everything to consider, when getting to the true answer's concerning music, more than other subjects of life period. The great thing about music. Is there may never, be an answer that can be truely provided. But we are all...., on the same page.

Hey Guys
Yeah they're awesome guitarists ay but what about Eric Clapton he's awesome too ay. This is a hard question because these are all awesome guitarists but they're awesome in their own style of music so they're kinda hard to compare but I really like Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix.

Cheers

I'm curious to know anyone's opinion. First off before I even begin wth the question, I would like everyone to know THAT I AM NOT RACIST! That being said if anyone says it then your just trying to start ****. Ok, now do any of you think that Hendrix would have been as popular if he hadn't started playing that kind of rock in that time frame, or if he were Caucasian and not African American? Just wondering because I am not saying he wasn't good I am just saying that if he would have started playing a year later, and wasn't like one of the first African American guitarist, would he have been as popular?

I misspelled entirety. :(

But yeah, Rusty Cooley is a whole new level of wankage. I downloaded his s/t album from a fan who tried to convince me of his greatness. Being a good sport I listened to it.

But damn if it wasn't the most unmusical thing I have ever heard. Every song sounded exactly the same, and overall it was 50 minutes of squeals and beeps.

Basically it was Metal Machine Music with arpeggios.

Alright....But we can now agree to disagree........I dont think that the riRAB he wrote were at all like anything at the time.......And maybe you've only heard the occasional song where they were somewhat simple

Personally, I think Dimebag is great at both. He has some awesome rhythm work, but some great solos too. His solo in FlooRAB is possibly one of my favourite solos ever.

lol. Actually I missed him because there's a timer and a limit on the poll. Radiohead is like one of my favourite banRAB, noob.

Phil Keaggy
I'd guarantee you he'd shred the pants off most of the names in this thread. Not to mention his masterful writing and artistry.

Actually the post should read "Who are your favorite guitarists?" Nobody can really say one is better than another because it's more of an opinion than fact.
