No one's gonna respect you for mixing up 2 completely different banRAB into one, so I wouldn't be trying to defend yourself. More or less redeem yourself.
Exodizer, every post you have had on this forum everyone has disagreed with you, or you have been 100% wrong and gotten in a fight with someone. Its rather amusing.
Both had a great deal of technical skill and wrote some of the most memorable rock riRAB of all-time, but Hendrix was undoubtedly the more innovative guitarist.
Why is this guy such a popular choice for people? Sure he's good, but I just don't understand how anyone could call him the ultimate guitarist, thats just me though.
He died last year, god shot by a durabass, guitarest for pantera and oh god whats that other band, and he kicked ass. Jimmy page i like to, jimmy kicks ass. Kut kobain really wasn't to great of a guitarest, although i like his songs. ANd oh ya jeff beck.
While i think that the greatest pioneer in Jimi Hendrix, i would have to say the best guitarist (as in, making the greatest sounRAB), is John Frusciante, (Red Hot Chili Peppers), or Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave)
