Ultimate Guide To Folding@home

as far as ui can see we have 1 more threat, the voz f@h team, who are on ranked about 520 and will pass us in 11 days. :(

also has anyone else got any WU that use the new core79 (double gromacs) ive not long finished one, 935 and on another, 934 it uses sse2 commands and this is a celeron machine which has sse2 which may be why?

edit: i think all core79 WU are all 93x

edit2: im also working on WU 858 which is a 2500, and is taking about 45min per percent, its huge, buts its worth 160 point. :D

200 WU completed now. :)
Congratulations, VB1234 you really are shooting up fast! :)

Any chance that this could be pinned back in the lounge? It's so quiet in here...

Anyone able to give me a 5 step guide to 'getting' gromacs.
I read that page but it makes no sense to me and isn't clear. Im not sure which .exe to make a shortcut as the one mentioned isn't in my folding@home folder ot startup folder.

Cheers ........

What processor is that on?

I'm running 2 of those atm, it takes about 23 mins per % on my XP2500 (oc'd to XP3200) and about 35 mins per % on my XP1700 (not oc'd).

@FlyingDutchman: Better get ready to move to one side, don't want you ending up as roadkill.

yeah i've dropped down from 3 full time and one as used to one full time an done as used,
as i've just moved out into my own flat, and saving electicity on my laptop and the noise of them as they are in my room,

even a littlelink up the top would be nice, next to post counts and members ranks

so rookie if your reading this.

I can't believe how many inactive members there are.

But you've been inactive since: 11.13.05

...that's not strictly true, my girlfriend (Dutch)

3 Dutch 13372 129

has ambushed my two computers and is contributing to an other folding@home team..so when I , sometime in the near future, in the holst of the night, change the team number back to 34905 and pray she doesn't notice ..then I would still be contributing to the team with multi processors... it just seemed a good idea. In the end every work unit that gets folded, goes to wards the good cause. It's just more fun when everyone is playing on an even playing field :) The spirit of competition...thought it might encourage a few sports to see if their computers have got what it takes...

:)

looks like something happened to one of lamseys machines too, look at how many WU's hes done, and he was getting no points for it basically.
Ha

I've been chasing him since the beginning, wanting to kick his ass.

Maybe now I can do it.

/me starts stretching his muscles :01: :01:
