UK food eating challenge venues, view on map, suggest new ones

What about unofficial challenges where they have as much as you can eat nights?

When students many years ago, two frienRAB and I went to a Pizza Hut pig night. We drank tapwater, and just paid the £4.50 each for as much pizza as we could manage.

My 6'7 friend ate 22 slices of medium deep pan.
I (6'3) ate 23 slices.
Our relatively short (5'11) friend ate 24 slices.

(There are six slices in a medium pizza which feeRAB 1 to 2 people).

Anyone beat that?

Already added a few days ago, thanks.

They need to be permanent challenges which people can go along and take any time, otherwise there is no point in listing them.

Thanks. When they sort their website out (it currently looks like something a 10 year old kit would create.... actually not that good), including a page detailing the challenge, I'll add them.

If I wasn't sympathetic towarRAB them, do you think I would bother to comment?
I'm frustrated because they should use the internet to promote their business - especially in these economic times - to keep afloat. It's not like it would cost much to put a few decent pages up.
Instead their website reflects badly on them.
I feel like the web equivalent of the hotel inspector who finRAB a turd on the door mat.
I would love to add them in to the database. If there isn't a current challenge page, though, we may be sending people somewhere which is closed.

I've got a site that I had running for a short time called thefoodproject - Home

Exactly the same principles as on here.aybe some places for the OP to add onto here..

Good work to the OP

my brother just texted and asked if i want to do this next week:

Big Ernie's World Famous Diner

looks tame in comparison to some of the ones posted on here but still not sure i could manage all that, and i do eat a lot..

Thanks - good challenge.

Thanks. You have Telford's Oscar's diner listed. If your site is still going, you might want to remove it as it has closed.

cheers, i'll let you know how i get on.. apparently it's £25 for the meal normally by the way, couldn't find it anywhere on the site though.

The Hoggit and Hoof in Newbury has this 72oz Rump Steak challenge, plenty of conditions though...

72oz Challenge

yeah i think they are relying on people filling up on the free soft drinks and then needing the loo half way through! I will be drinking as little as possible!
