ok, so Ezra re-used the graph and info from a NY times article from a month ago (prior to debt ceiling stuff, etc). And it doesn't include:
a) renewed tax cuts, untill 2013, so prorating 1.8T from 8 years to 2013 will add ~0.85T
b) increase in troops/spending in afghanistan, which according to GAO, balances out with the withdrawal nurabers in Iraq.
so yes, you are right, graph is a bit misleading....... but even if you add your fixes you are looking at ~5T vs ~2T
anything else we missed?
