they (the projections) are used in the graph for obama's projected spending.
My point is that the graph are misleading, in 8 years Bush added $4.9 Trillion to the national debt, which is unbelievable until you hear that in less than three years Obama has added $4 Trillion to the national debt.
the difference between projections and reality. Both of Obama's projected nurabers for the two years he been in office has have been short by several hundred billion dollars. You can see that in graph form on the NYT page
They are assuming that Afghanistan spending will somehow be a saving, that isn't happening. We are negotiating staying through 2024. They are also assuming that Obama doesn't propose any additional spending for the rest of his time in office, which is nonsense. He will be announcing additional spending after Labor Day on more stimulus, so its like the projections were shortchanged for a third straight year.
