I am stuck at the USBMap window, it is just not picking up the usb port the phone is connected to. The phone is a new KP500 Cookie locked to the Tesco network.
 
Hello!This tutorial worked perfectly for me, but I still have the same problem I had before installing a new firmware:my camera freezes and stays in loading mode.I've got to take out my battery and start the phone again.I've got to mention that i have no warranty to this phone.Please!!!anyone who can help me!!!I'm desperate!!!
 
the drivers will only work with windows XP?? is that true..i have windows 7 and havent ever been able to get PC suite to work on any other computer. is there any way i can still flash my phone???
 
Hi,

i'm now waiting for over 12 hours on the USBMap mapping part... still @ USB1 on infineon... still searching (cable is connected on a WORKING usb port) and the util is not hanging!!!! (just for info, for giving you all the details, so we don't need pointless messaging of did u do this and that )

any one know the problem?
btw phone is hanging on LG logo for a couple of days.
i tried is with and without battery, with and withous simcard.
i tried also all possible combinations.
pls... i don't want to send it to repair because u get it back more broke than it was... and i don't want to pay 49 euro for a new one
