thanks .but not work for me,
i tested with kp500 that hang on logo
but only 18% flashing .i flash it with uart not usb.
should work on usb?
 
Oops. Mistake. Learnt only GSMMULTI uses flash loader utility.

However I could never get EFS file exlorer to see KP500. It keeps connecting and disconnecting with a flashing message "waiting". May be the explorer does not recognize KP500?! Anyone to throw some light on this? Thanks.
 
Hi i ahve started the proceedure up to the point it brings up the working usb port but it hangs on WAITING PHONE CONNECTING any ideas???
 
If i follow this steps in this thread does it unlock the phone aswell or only new firmware?
 
So does anyone know how this will work if my phone is stuck on the startup loop? It shows the LG logo for about 2 seconds and shuts off and does it again. So it doesnt have enough time to connect to the program or computer before it restarts. Any suggestions?
 
IF u use usb cable of KE500 then it will take 554sec for full flash, if u try to flash it with usb to serial cable then it will take 7500sec.

i tried with both and now posting proof of time consumin but its good that no box needed to flash this COOOOKKKKIIIIEEEEEE....

Would you please explian how you do it when it stucks on LG logo for a long.

Just tested on KP500 - Phone flashing on LG logo now working fine! Thankyou - we have had many KP500's with this problem!
 
first you disconnect phone, then execute program, click start, and then connect the phone. it will start flashing!!!

i had my phone stucked in the logo, and now its 100% OK!!!!! thanks....

just follow the instructions, and start software first, and connect phone after!
 
Thank you all guys. It has been sorted out. Open the exe and then plug in the usb cable to the phone. It starts uploading.

is that is only for flash or to unlock to because i trayet but still locked
 
hiya im stuk on the flashing my fone part.. im on the last part which is opening LG-GSM multi and it says wen i press start USB 1 .. wait phone connecting??.. but its being say this for ages and seemss to do nothing?.. myy fone is plugged in , and switched off with battrry sim ect removed.. it keeps turning on, saying battery charging.. lights stay on for abit then it goes off again?.. and does the whole thing of turning on and sayin battery charging again? im so confused??.. on the LG-GSM software.. it says model KP500.. sw version: KP500AT-00-V10n-CIS-XXX-DEC-17-2008.bin ? where am i going wrng?
