Tutorial for Samsung U410 with WAP, incoming MMS and possibly U520, U540, A870, more.

i sent berry a pm, but the spc is not all zeros on the juke...

only the subsidy code that allows you to access the internal programming...

the spc is a different code, at least on the juke that i did, and i got it with bitpim from the nvm_security file...

I tried this to, but it didn't work either. I re-flashed the AB22.bin file, but it still does not help. It has the 1039 PRL on it, but it constantly searches for service. It won't even let me factory default it. It doesn't respond at all to Test mode. I have searched for another bin file with no luck. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
 
So, I am a newbie, and trying my hardest to flash my first phone. I have the 410, i installed the qpst, changed it to the correct port, was trying to write the prl file to thephone and it asks for the service programming code. I thought it was all 0's? Doesnt work. Any ideas on how to get around this? Also, is there a different PRL for each area of the country? I live in Salem, Oregon. Hope someone is willing to help me with this. Thanks in advance.


Also, when I use pst lite, and try to write the prl to the phone, it says error in requesting MSL code.
 
Most likely another way to get MMS working on the U410:
Go to message,settings, then press #.
The code is 410667.
In MMSC Domain switch vtext with mycricket
Upload ShortCode:111111 (not easy)
MMS User Agent: /servlets/mms
Username: [email protected]
Password:cricket

i got samsung a870 i got bin but after full flash to cricket prl and every thing phone work but after few days it will stop working and go back to verizon need help pls.
 
The first juke I did I did manage to change the wap settings by reading them w/ PST Lite and then editing it w/ PST. But the one that came in the other day I didn't have to do that all I had to do was change the MMS settings and change to SIP and it worked. I didn't think the juke had a browser u could browse on.

EDIT TO MY ABOVE POST!!! I dind't used u740 dll I used u540
 
Anyone who can do a SCH-a870 with expert analysis. I need WAP so I can get ringtones, and check mail and everything else in between.
 
Use CDMA Workshop to find your SPC and load the PRL and your troubles will all go away!

Use the Cricket 1040 PRL--it's universal. Check the PRL sticky up top.

the a870 can be done on the pc you dont need to do it on the phone itself to get both mms and wap working some times you should try programs you thought might not work, Hint LG Different Dlls sometimes will read the MMS and the WAP info.
 
I did this write up without "expert analysis" for a reason. If you have everything I mentioned you will need for this, then you should have no problem getting this to work IF you have searched around and learned how to use all of these programs already. That means if you are a noob, you will have to do more work than is listed here, but if you are not this should be second nature. Or at least you would be able to figure the rest out by searching. The only reason I posted this and my other tutorials was to give back to those who contribute to the Cricket forum (not noobs, they have much to learn first).
