That was painful viewing. The bit that really got to me was when the northern Dad indignantly complained that he'd fallen out with members of his family etc., having been accused of being obsessed with the money his son could make through golf. He then spent the rest of the programme listing all the things he was banking on his son getting one day (cars, yachts, etc) and - the worst bit - explaining that he wouldn't let his son out to play because he might get knocked down and he was "too valuable" (the implication being that, if he was sh*te at golf, the kid would have been allowed to play "dodge the traffic" with impunity)!
With the possible exception of the boxing Dad, these kid's parents so obviously see their children as their way to a wealthy future. I saw no love, only anger and obsession. Awful, awful people.
