**TRANSFORMERS MOVIE** The review you've been waiting for! v.all that shit by me

THANK YOU

For fucks sake you guys are being dumb.

I was hoping it would be good, and I went in neutral as I do with any film. I went to the first showing available in my city for a reason. Your TERRIBLE explanation of why a 'bad movie' that is expected to be bad makes it better reeks so strongly of ignorance it belief your complete inability to even examine the subject of movies logically. I'm not examining it for flaws you ignorant dick, I'm explaining why, as I watched it, I thought it was dog shit.

You.

The thing is, I'm not sure why it even matters. They could have just pasted in lines from the cartoon and made it work, since they spoke so little. And then it was random, "You have failed me again, Starscream." They haven't even seen each other in thousands of years. I guess that was the homage to the fact that there was tension between them in the cartoon? Who the fuck knows.

I agree with Tank's review, the Transformers were not developed at all. Bay's shaky cam made me feel like a epileptic watching Blair Witch. Add to that they all looked the same in robot mode, it was a huge cluster fuck at the end.

The movie was about the Transformers and there were basically no Transformers the first half the movie. Shia LaBeouf's character drove me nuts. He probably had 9,000 lines of dialogue rapid fire, and I still have no idea what he was talking about.

The other thing is the are supposed to be robots in disguise. Yet, why are they always trying to hide in robot mode? Can someone explain this to me?

It was a decent movie.
My biggest beef was how it'sa feel-good HUMAN movie. Or should I say, feel-good AMERICAN movie. Transformers is about robots fight robots, not fucking "Optimus can't beat Megatron, but a kid can." I was expecting a showdown between Optimus and Megatron. "One shall stand, one shall fall."
The whole American weapons beating advanced robots thing was gay too.
All the Transformers pretty much had the same generic voice except for Optimus. Hugo Weaving didn't make Megatron sound cool at all.
Frenzy was homo w/ his gay comic relief.
Yea, I think that's it.

yeah that's been on Wiki for a while now...I'm part of the group hoping that Bay doesn't get signed on

but then again this movie is going to make millions and the studios will say "Well Bay did such a good job, let's sign him for the sequel"

oh yeah, I think Bay's snubbing of Welker was 100% a fuck you to all of the fans so he could flex his asshole muscle and prove it was "his" movie....despite them doing everything humanly possible in post production to make Weaving sound like Welker Thanks a lot for that, prick.

It was mentioned that the cube's reaction would kill Prime if it was put in his chest. Sam did that to Megatron and took him out. It was not unlike something you'd see in the cartoon series.

Hugo Weaving was Megatron, Peter Cullen was Prime.

I'd like to see any of the following directing the sequels

Juan Carlos Fresnadillo
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0294379/

Guillermo del Toro
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0868219/

Paul Verhoeven
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000682/

Sam Raimi
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000600/

Christopher Nolan
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0634240/

Ridley Scott
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000631/

James Cameron (although it will never happen )
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000116/

That movie was fucking bad. I don't know how anyone can look past the inexcusable plot deficiencies, terrible characters, disregard for the decepticons and completely unnecessary government sub-plot filler that went into that movie.

if, after spending $2k-3k, you are able to tell what exactly is happening during a transformation, please post a slow-speed recording of it so we can all know what all that motion-blur, HDR and reflection mapping is hiding.

i didnt read any of this thread except first post. i liked the first half, and i started to fucking fall asleep. when the big action scene came i was completely out. none of the action grabbed me and i was like whatever and dozed off

So true it is sad.

I was really let down by the movie. The only character that had any development was megatron and he was on ice for 2/3 of the movie. I know more about "The Captian" then I do about any of the transformers.

I don't get a lot of things in the movie like Prime not helping Bumblebee. For five minutes while the scene was going on, I was saying to myself WTF!! Totally ruined the scene for me.

The closeups were really confusing. IronHide flipping every other second while attacking was stupid. Jazz dying...who cared...who was jazz again?

To me it seemed they started the project with 1/3'rd of the script done and just winged the rest. A lot of the action scenes didn't make much sense.

The movie just didn't do anything for me. They could have put the original movie on the screen and it would have been better.
