**TRANSFORMERS MOVIE** The review you've been waiting for! v.all that shit by me

How the fuck did they come to that conclusion? Prime telling him to put it in his chest sounded like a last resort type of thing that would have had dire consequences....so you then in turn don't do it and stick it in the bad guy????

they only care about the $$$$$$, which is unfortunate

as long as Bay is gone, it will be better and everyone here will feel satisfied, not because it will necessarily be a "good" movie, but because it will beat the suck out of this movie

Both spiderman 3 and Pirates 3 cost 100m more to make. And prior to release were both had more hype and were most likely expected to do better than TF.

It's based off a fucking childrens toy for christ sakes.

You can lay off the yoda psychology, I've said as much as I thought it was decent in spite of the Michael Bay speed bumps. He's NOT a good director.

Why would you go to THIS movie and expect all that?

I am not kidding, I went to see GIANT EFFING ROBOTS FIGHTING GIANT EFFING ROBOTS. That was ALL I went to see. I didn't go for no plot development. I didn't go for characters. I went cause I wanted to see GIANT EFFING ROBOTS BEATING UP ON GIAN EFFING ROBOTS.

I got that.

Yeah you are right it has other problems.

Hey, put me in for wanting more Starscream.

But I wanted one thing and I think you are a fool if you spend money on that movie expecting anything else.

You guys are being way too harsh on this, I think this was easily one of the best cartoon/comic book to movie adaptations in quite some time. They didn't fuck it up and your little nit picky didn't like this but this part was ok, is ridiculous. It's clear that with all of the complaining no one saying negative things actually came into this to see a completely new movie based on the idea of what we all formerly knew to be Transformers. Did you really expect the film to bring back the exact feelings that you got watching the show or reading the comics as a disillusioned youth? Yes the character development was a little weak, but did you want to sit in the theater for another 45 minutes? Probably not, and you probably would comment that it was long and drug out instead. Yes Bay threw in some seemingly unnecessary comic relief type scenes but please you really expected 2.5 hours of non-stop action? Give me a break. The technology used to make the movie was innovative and impressive, from the aesthetic point of view I thought it was fantastic.

The part of star scream may not have been enough for you but looking back (I've seen the movie twice now) it was sufficient and his role is made very clear as well and led to a decent set up for future films. As for the fight scenes, I really don't know what you expected to see, robots carrying out kung fu moves? Also the limits of the technology come into play here. Any idea how difficult it would have been to coordinate and render more detailed hand to hand combat scenes for each fight? The reality is that transformers is a deep story line and I think as much of it was relayed in this short film as possible without keeping us in theaters for 3+ hours. This thread is ridiculous and all of the faggot would be screen writers, movie critics, directors, and producers explaing how they would have done it is more than pathetic. Especially when half the people in this thread (judging from the questions posted) couldn't even seem to follow this simple story line.
