I didnt think there were that many really. I was expecting more. I've watched the movie 4 times now, I keep catching more small things everytime I watch it. (granted these are the CAM version)
I cant wait to see it in full glory, probally on Thursday so that I can try to catch a time when there arent 200 people laughing and cheering to ruin the effect
I saw someone post on another message board that read the book said that he didn't die in the first fight with bumblebee, but on the chase scene right before Prime kills Bonecrusher, he was supposed to have died there. My guess is he screen tested well and they wanted to keep him around for the sequel.
Prime said that if it came down to it to push the allspark into the cube in his chest and he'd sacrifice himself. Sam assumed that if the allspark came in contact with the cube it would destroy itself etc. So he took a chance.
simplify it however you want, fact is I'm not alone. Had he not dumbed his way into a can't miss franchise, I think the downward trend of his movie numbers would have continued.
I said he was a bit over analytical, he didn't really take any one thing on it's own, he basically just deconstructed all of it. I laughed at some of the jokes, but a lot of them seemed forced and very out of place.
